Structure
The Centre functions
and operates through four core bodies. The bodies and main office bearers
of the Centre are:
Chairman is the chief functionary and responsible for all administrative
and academic affaris.
Hon' y Secretary keeps the records.
Hon'y Treasurer looks after income and expenditure.
Director represents the chairman in all academic and administrative programmes
and activities.
General Council (GC) is the chief policy making body and comprises all
the members of CSOS.
Board of Governors (BG) is the chief decision making body and comprises
9 elected members, 5 from founder members, 2 from honorary members and
2 from patrons & donors.
Executive Council (EC) executes the decision, taken by the BG and comprises
the Chairman, Hon'y Secretary, Hon'y Treasurer, Director and one member
nominated by the Chairman.
Academic Council (AC) is the core body to suggest and propose to B.G.
the academic programme. It comprises the Chairman, Hon'y Secretary,
Director and four members elected from the member of the general council.
Membership of the Centre comprise three categories viz. Founder members
are the seven subscribers and signaturies on the memorandum of association.
Honorary members are nominated by the B.G. on the basis of their professional
performance. Patrons and Donors are paid memberships given to those
who apply for the same along with the prescribed fee which is Rs. 20000/-
(US $ 1000/-) for the Patrons and Rs. 5000/-
(US $ 250/-) for the donors.
